Kit. The VW Beetle Type 11, Version 1302, was manufactured from 1970 to 1972. Equipped with a 1600 cc four-cylinder boxer engine, it boasted 50 HP. This model introduced a more modern front axle with MacPherson struts and an independent rear suspension with trailing arms. In 1972, the Beetle surpassed the Ford Model T as the world’s most produced car. This particular model can be assembled in two different versions: with a closed top and with an open top.
