The Kibri fire fighting boat is not built according to a specific prototype but similiar boats can be found as fire fighters or rescue vessels in seaports and inland harbours in Germany and the Netherlands. The ca. 37 BRT big boat has a combined foam/water cannon as well as tow more water cannons. For bailing there are C-pipes and suction pipes. The hydraulic crane serves for recovery purposes but is also used for hoisting equipment or pipe bridges onto the sometimes pretty high decks of large vessels. Such boats are employed by the professional and voluntary fire brigades and also by works fire fighters for instance in large chemical works.
