Rothenstadt is a small town near Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. The train station of Rothenstadt was originally located on the railroad line Regensburg-Weiden. After its dissolution only a flagstop remained which also no longer exists today. The Rothenstadt station buildings, consisting of train station and freight shed, were constructed according to old plans. The enclosed figure set (era 1/2) is based on a historic photograph showing the original people at the station. The limited edition »Rothenstadt train station kit« comes with a reprint of the contemporary photograph.
Train station:
The station building has an interesting and for this region typical layout with a taller element (including service accommodation) positioned transversely to the platform, and a lower element with waiting room arranged lengthwise to the platform. The structures of the plastered walls are very detailed. The roof gable is made of pre-colored genuine wood as well as doors, lattice window framework and shutters. The building is equipped with filigree rain gutters, downspouts and insulators for the power supply. At the rear there is an annex of a small wooden shed. The entrance door to the waiting room can be opened (opening 20 x 47 mm). With wooden fence as platform barrier. Can be illuminated with Busch LED set 5998. Kit.
Corrugated metal shed:
Rusty corrugated metal shed with lattice windows on the long sides and steel door (can be opened, opening 19 x 42 mm) on the front side. Roof with flue tube. It can be positioned next to Rothenstadt train station or any other location. Can be illuminated with Busch LED set 5998. Kit.

Based on a comtemporary photograph of era 1/2 these figures represent original persons in the historical environment of Rothenstadt train station. The set includes a photographer with a plate camera on a wooden tripod, two women, a mother with a child and a railway official. The figures are detailed and already painted.
