About the model:
This Esso petrol station was designed by the Dutch architect W. Dudok in the early 1950s. In different variants, the basic architecture was used for larger motorway service stations as well as smaller urban gas stations. The still modern-looking architecture had a clear influence on the designs of the gas stations in the 60s and 70s.
