The Minsk Tractor Works (Minski Traktorny Zavod), founded on May 29, 1946, produces agricultural and forestry utility vehicles in Belarus. With 8-10% share of the world market, the company gradually became one of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery and has employed almost 20,000 people since 2005. The main product Belarus has been exported to more than 60 countries and is a best seller. Since the company was founded, more than three million tractors have been manufactured, more than 70,000 of which were exported to the GDR. No wonder that the tractor could be found in almost every stretch of land in the GDR. The most widespread and best-known variants were the MTS-80 and MTS-82 models. Series production of the MTS-80/82 began in 1974 with the small cabin, which was upgraded from 1983/84 by a wider safety cabin and thus became the standard of the 75-80 hp Belarus. From 1990 the initially free-standing headlights were integrated into the front of the tractor below the radiator grille. The model with the large angular and angular cab has sharp contours and a movable front axle. Just like its big model, the miniature is available as a standard MTS-80 tractor with narrow, fine-tread front tires or as an all-wheel drive MTS-82 with coarse treading and wider front tires. Well then, now the popular red Belarusians are rushing through the H0 fields. From 1990 the initially free-standing headlights were integrated into the front of the tractor below the radiator grille.
